Swivel hooks are a popular attachment for lanyards. The swivel allow for rotation of the badge or other item, without the lanyard becoming twisted. The hook attaches to the ID card holder or other item. There is a spring latch which is pushed back to hook onto an item. This spring then closes the hook opening and securely holds the item. A hole is required to attach to hook to on the item.
